Lady Sharmelitta Harris James, a native of Jackson, MS, is the daughter of Ronald Clifford Penn and Doris Magee Harris. She received her bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies from Thee Jackson State University and Masters of Business Administration from Belhaven University.
Lady James' passion is working within the youth, women and music ministry. She has served as a youth leader with the Jackson District and General Missionary Baptist State Convention of Mississippi for the past 15+ years in the capacity as a teacher, choir director and counselor. During the year of 2022, Lady J started the Lady J's Faith + Fitness Ministry where she focuses on the total fitness of people. Spiritually, mentally, financially, physical fitness.
Lady James is a devoted wife and mother. She has been married to Pastor Ralph James since January 2008 and together they are the proud parents of four beautiful children: SharCoria Me’Li-Corin, Willard Joseph, Christopher Bernard, and Caleb Leonard.
Lady James’ favorite scripture is “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” Psalm 34:8
